Flexible Study Program
Available all year
This program is available all year round from Monday to Friday.
The FSP is a one-month program, consisting of 4 hours per day for 4 weeks for a total of 80 hours. Students are welcome to begin on any day of the week. Comunicare has established groups for three levels of Spanish language learners: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Also, students are given the flexibility to choose a morning or afternoon schedule .
The FSP has been carefully structured to share with the students the necessary instruments in order to understand and learn the Spanish language quickly and easily. The interrelation between the theoretic-practical grammatical content and the experiences and interests of the students, allows them to use the Spanish language while they gradually understand the culture in which it is immersed.

Central American Reality Program

Study and Share Program
Duration: 3 weeks
Months: January / February / March / June / July
The Study and Share Program is an interactive program that offers high school students an opportunity to come to Costa Rica , immerse themselves in a Spanish speaking culture, share experiences and get to know the people. The three weeks are very intense because the students also (1) take Spanish classes, where they correct mistakes and enlarge their structure and vocabulary; (2) develop socio-cultural activities; (3) enjoy the Costa Rican geography and landscape (biological reserves , national parks, rains forests); (4) perform volunteer work at public school or in a rural community; and (5) share with Costa Rican families. Although the program has established dates for its implementation, Comunicare is willing to work with the teachers to set dates according to the needs and interests of each high school.
